The 2006 & 2007 Editions of our Organisers and catalogues have a second screen operating when the Organiser/Catalogue is running. It is black with text and often likened to a "dos box".

Minimise the "black" window and ignore it. It is only the Java platform working in the background.  So if you try mininimising it, not closing it your organiser should work. In practice, the organiser should minimise the black window in any case after it starts up,

This second screen is not used in the current 2008 Organisers and Catalogues.
